Offerings
Personal Training
Keep on moving and improving!
Take time to appreciate the one-on-one training. Accelerate the learning process. Private sessions are powerful. You will learn much faster than in a group setting. Your needs and your questions are the priorities. Then go to group classes with more confidence and a better understanding of what your body needs. Injuries don’t need to stop you, all you need is to adapt and keep working the rest of your body while you recover the injured part(s), it works I know!!
Pre and Post Rehab
You don’t need to stop, all you need is to adapt and give some time to heal while keeping yourself moving.
No one should be deprived of doing what they love, because of injuries and unexpected health issues. We should be able to continue to play our favorite sports and participate in our favorite activities, such as gardening, hiking, walking and more. Clara will work with your doctor and physical therapist to help you safely get you back to doing what you love and what makes you happy. You’ll learn to respect your limitations and adapt…and yet continue to have fun as much as possible!
Group Classes
Because working in a community setting makes us strong in many ways!
Clara offers group classes at The Marin YMCA, Embrace Yoga and the College of Marin. Group classes are just as important as individuals sessions because working as a group you can feel the power of community support and have fun with friends while practicing!

Be Mindful:
Wellness Resources:
In the Blink of an Eye
In the blink of an eye another week is gone,
In the blink of an eye another week is gone.
In the blink of an eye another month is gone,
In the blink of an eye another year is gone.
And in the blink of an eye l’ll be gone too,
And not just me but also you.
So maybe we should be wishin’ and hopin’,
That we could just keep our eyes open.
And see and appreciate all that we can see,
And learn how we can be, the best that we can be,
Before it’s too late,
Time flies, so let’s not wait.
Whether we have just one life or many, one thing is true,
We should try to enjoy every moment we can; it’s the wisest thing to do.

Adapted Physical Education (APE) Program – College of Marin, Kentfield and IVC, Novato
Clara is on the faculty at the COM where I run three different classes to all students, especially the students with injuries and physical disabilities. Each student will be taught to work with their challenges and I will design a special individual fitness program for each student’s needs. There are three classes under the APE program, Adapted General Conditioning, Adapted Chair Yoga and Adapted Aquatics.
Adapted General Conditioning: In this class Clara has her own fitness room with cardio machines and other fitness equipment to offer the students. They will learn to work on their cardiovascular as well as strengthening among other goals. They will be given their fitness routine that we will review that routine often to make sure the student is working to their level and achieving their goals.
Adapted Chair Yoga: In this class we work as a group but adaptation is always offered so students can challenge their bodies and maximize their gain. This class can be done seated in a chair for the entire class or for those students able to, they will be offered some of the standing modifications appropriate to their level.
Adapted Aquatics: In the Aquatics class the student can use the shallow and/or the deep pool, depending on the student needs and water safety level. Clara will make the decision based on a water safety test. The program is very individual and tailored for the students needs and goals, students can use a mix of programs, like swimming laps and some water fitness or focus on one program more than the other. It all depends.
To enroll you must register at the College of Marin website as a college student.
